ArtDog Summer Camp

8-12 year olds

Our camps are kept small for plenty of 1:1 attention.

Campers will have fun with a variety of mediums (acrylic paint, watercolor, oil, ceramics and collage)  while learning about color theory and the psychology of color!

We make fine art fun art! We’ll have so much fun with the projects, they won’t realize they’re learning 🙂

  • Camp is Monday – Wednesday  9am – Noon
  • Must be at least 8 -12 years old
  • We will provide a snack bottled water each day.
  • Depending on weather, some art activities may be enjoyed on our outdoor patio

COVID considerations and policies:

Staff and attendees are required to wear masks.

To maintain the highest level of social distancing and hygiene practices, we will be limiting the number of campers and we will not be allowing any other customers in the studio during camp. Parents of course are welcome to check in and observe!

Campers will be seated at their own tables for social distancing and personal space.

We will be limiting the sharing of supplies.  We ask that if your child is sick that you please not bring them to camp. If your child can’t attend camp, we will be happy to work with you to offer them an alternative camp, provide the projects to create at home, or make up the projects at a later date.

***After registration is complete, an electronic form containing the following verbiage will be emailed for your acknowledgment and signature.

Emergency contact

Any allergies or special needs that we should be aware of?   During Camp, ArtDog provides individually prepackaged snacks that may consist of cheese crackers, cracker jacks, goldfish, chex mix, an orange or other piece of fruit. Please let us know if your child has restrictions and we may ask that you bring a personal snack for them to enjoy during snack time.

Permission is granted for pictures taken throughout camp to be displayed in our studio or used for promotions

Permission is granted for emergency treatment for your child if unable to contact you or emergency contact.

I understand that every precaution is taken to ensure safety of each student; however, in case of an accident, I agree to release ArtDog from any liabilities. In order for Art Camp to be enjoyable for all campers and instructors, appropriate behavior and participation is expected. In the event that your child becomes disruptive or uncooperative, we will contact you and your child will be excused for the day. No refund will be given for that session. All of our supplies must be bought in advance, therefore we cannot give refunds for camp sessions within 2 weeks of the camp date. In case of illness, camper may be transferred to another class, subject to availability. We will do our best to complete every project scheduled. Projects are subject to change depending on the time it takes for students to complete each project within the time frame. If your child does not finish during the scheduled time, he/she can return during regular business hours to complete the project. Please be prompt in dropping off and picking up your child so that we can stay on schedule. If you are going to be late in picking up your child, please notify us at 314-492-6777.   Your child could get messy. Please be sure that he/she is dressed accordingly. We will be doing a few pieces of ceramics during camp and will make every effort to have them fired by last day of camp, but there is a possibility that we may need a few extra day, in which case we will contact you when ready for pickup (but we really try to have them ready for you !)
